{"id":932,"date":"2020-09-15T18:47:10","date_gmt":"2020-09-15T16:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.empp.co.uk\/wordpress\/?page_id=932"},"modified":"2023-04-13T15:19:39","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T13:19:39","slug":"settled-status-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.empp.co.uk\/wordpress\/en\/settled-status-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Settled status"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Settled status<\/h1>\n<p>To make sure that Polish\/other EU citizens do not become illegal immigrants in the UK after Brexit, SPS became involved in supporting EU nationals with applying for the Settled Status, a status EU citizens require after Brexit.<\/p>\n<p>Last year we supported over 200 people through the Home Office funding granted via Nottingham Law Centre.\u00a0 We helped them to apply for the status: for some it was settled status, for others pre-settled status.\u00a0 Many have no IT skills, English language barriers, no modern mobile telephones.
